Barrier-free mobility

Passengers with limited mobility require barrier-free stops, accessible vehicles, and reserved seats. In Potsdam, all buses are fitted with ramps, offering access for wheelchairs users. The Combino and Vario trams provide low-level access for people with restricted mobility. The majority of tram stops in Potsdam have platforms offering access for people with disabilities. However, some 10% of stops at street level are located in public spaces, and here ViP and the City of Potsdam are working together to improve access for people with disabilities.
